80% of Alpha Charter High School students achieve Honor Roll for the Fall Semester.  Congratulations students, teachers and staff!

 82% of our 10th grade students passed the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) on their first attempt in 2015!  This is an exceptionally high passage rate for 10th grade students taking the CAHSEE for the first time.  We are very proud of the hard work of our students, parents and staff at Alpha Charter High School!

The Elverta School District is pleased to announce the formation of Alpha Charter School.  Alpha Charter School is a tuition free program offered by Elverta School District that allows you to go to high school using an online program delivered at Alpha School AND graduate with a diploma! This program at Alpha Charter is available to residents of the Elverta School District, Sacramento County, and surrounding counties including Placer, Sutter and Yolo Counties. 


Beginning with the 2013-2014 school year, we will offer a full-time option for 9th grade students (grades 10-12 will be added in subsequent school years) who are looking for an alternative to the traditional environ­ment.  With Alpha Charter School, students and parents now have another option.  We have insisted upon and will provide the highest academic rigor available.


The Alpha Charter School program offers:


Ø  Flexible and Interactive classes delivered each school day at Alpha School.

Ø  An online classroom with no distractions or peer pressure.

Ø  One-on-one attention from California-certified teachers.

Ø  Access to a state-of –the-art facility for hands-on learning.

Ø  24/7 student support system.

Ø  A nationally and regionally recognized diploma.


Who is it for?


Whether you have a student who is charging ahead or falling behind, Alpha Charter School can help them learn at their own pace.  It is the ideal program for 9th grade students who have joined us through the Jerry Manuel Foundation.


Our program is available to those in 9th grade students in the 2013-2014 school year (grades 10-12 will be added in subsequent school years) who are:


Ø  Accelerated students who want to expand their options.

Ø  Students with college preparatory goals that require accelerated classes unavailable at their local school.

Ø  Traditional students looking for choices.

Ø  Students with personal obligations or scheduling constraints.


Dynamic Curriculum


Alpha Charter School is a proud partner with Advanced Academics. This unique program is designed to utilize an online curriculum in a site-based class room environment that allows students to work at their own pace, receive immediate tutoring, participate in small group instruction, and receive individualized support from site-based and online California certified teachers who provide support via phone, e-mail, as well as our Student Achievement Coordinators on site. A virtual whiteboard is even available for those students who need additional assistance.  Parents also have easy-to-access reports to monitor their students’ progress.  Students have full access to a rigorous, standards-based compre­hensive listing of courses in the following subject areas:


Ø  Math

Ø  Social Sciences/Studies

Ø  Science

Ø  Foreign Language

Ø  Electives

Ø  Language Arts
